Farmers Market

There are a number of regular farmers markets in and around Summerlin. These markets allow you to buy fresh produce straight from the local farming community. You can also get a lot of home-made meals, baked goods, preserves, beers and wines, and other products made by the locals. Popular farmers markets include the Las Vegas Farmers Market at the Gardens Park, Downtown Summerlin Farmers Market in Downtown Summerlin, and Sprouts Farmers Market at the gateway to Summerlin Plaza.

Summerlin Circus

With thrilling high wire walkers, aerialists, acrobats, and death defying stunts, the Summerlin Circus promises a weekend of fun and excitement. The circus comes to town annually and is set to open this year on November 10 and 11 at the Crossing Park. Locals, as well as tourists, are invited for a heart-stopping fabulous show with clowns and daredevils. It’s a great time for kids and kids at heart. Pre-sale tickets are cheaper than getting them on the day so book your tickets now.

Festivals

There are a number of festivals that happen at Summerlin. Whether it’s music, food, or just all around entertainment, the festivals at Summerlin will surely give locals and visitors a great time. One of the most popular annual festivals that happens at Downtown Summerlin is the Summerlin Festival of Arts. This well-established outdoor arts festival features food, music, art exhibits, hand-made products, interactive activities, and entertainment.

Baseball

Summerlin is hyped up for the 2019 season of the Las Vegas Ballpark. The Las Vegas Ballpark is the newest addition to the vibrant entertainment area of Downtown Summerlin. With a 10,000-person capacity, the Las Vegas Ballpark is home to the Las Vegas’ Triple-A baseball team. The $150 million stadium is scheduled to open in 2019 and will host a number of events along with baseball games. They’re currently accepting deposits for the 2019 season so if you’re interested to be one of the first few spectators in this high-tech ballpark, head to their site to reserve your tickets.

Marathons

Many organizations and businesses organize marathons and runs in Summerlin. Oftentimes these are for benefits and awareness, and they usually come with entertainment like music artists and performers to finish the event.  An annual run that most locals look forward to is the Annual Summerlin Half Marathon. Although the route might change a little, this half marathon usually takes participants on a run through beautiful scenic and incredible parks in Summerlin. The course usually begins at Downtown Summerlin and goes through Summerlin’s best trail parks filled with desert landscape and the breath-taking skyline of the Red Rock Mountains. The final stretch goes through the incredible views of the infamous Las Vegas Strip and back again to Downtown Summerlin.
